Dubbing the ensemble a ‘furkini’ Kim posted snaps of herself in the snow - her modesty covered by a few small pieces of animal fur, and a pair of fluffy boots.

The shoot is thought to have taken place while Kim and Kanye enjoyed a snowy getaway with the Kardashian’s childhood friends, the photographer being her husband himself.

And while there is little denying that Kim’s body looks incredible in the snaps, her choice of outfit has caused a backlash from anti-fur campaigners.

But it seems Kim is undeterred by other’s opinions, as she has come under fire for her fur loving ways in the past.

Animal charity PETA even created a campaign targeted at the star, with the slogan: ‘Kim: These babies miss their mother. IS SHE ON YOUR BACK?’ accompanied by a pictured of baby foxes.

There has also been speculation that Kim’s racy snaps were in response to Kanye’s ex Amber Rose’ risqué photos - that led to her being crowned Queen of Instagram.
