Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West's son Saint was reportedly rushed to hospital over the festive period after suffering from pneumonia
According to reports from American entertainment site TMZ, the couple's two-year-old son was taken to hospital on Thursday night and remained there until Saturday. Saint is reportedly now recovering at home with his family including his older sister North West.
Kim, who is usually very active on social media, chose to address her son's hospital stay after her son arrived safely home. Opening up about the horrific ordeal on Instagram, she posting an adorable photo of herself holding Saint and wrote: "My precious baby boy is so strong!
"After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary. "
She continued: "I just want to thanks every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better.
"He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint 👼🏽"
The shocking news, comes shortly after the mum-of-two posted a festive holiday of her family on Instagram.
She captioned the photo: "Happy Holidays".
The family of four will soon be adding another member as the A-list couple are expecting their third child via a surrogate. Kim accidentally revealed the gender of her unborn baby during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last year.

Speaking to Ellen about her baby shower which took place at her luxury house, Kim said: "People brought toys and gifts and she was opening them all up the next day and she (North) said, 'Mom, since baby sister’s not here, I think I need all of her toys in my room and I’ll play with them and just make sure they’re all okay for baby sister'."
When Ellen then asked, "You just told us it's a girl!", Kim laughed at her mistake then admitted she is expecting another baby girl.
After months of speculation, the reality star finally confirmed the news that she's expecting via a surrogate on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians trailer. Even though the happy couple have kept quiet about their baby, it has been reported that their third baby is expected to arrive in January, so we don't have long to wait!
Meanwhile over the holidays Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian finally confirmed her pregnancy with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Taking to Instagram, the 33-year-old reality star shared a photo of herself and Tristan cradling her baby bump.
Alongside the cute snap Khloe told fans she was nervous and overjoyed, but confirmed she is very excited.
Not only are Kim and Khloe due to welcome babies into the world this year but also their youngest sister Kylie is reportedly pregnant with her first child!
We reckon the Kardashian's have an expensive year ahead...
