Robert Kardashian's involvement in the OJ Simpson murder trial is well documented. He was his close friend, but also part of his legal 'dream team' that helped prove him not guilty of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.

But now Ron Goldman's father, Fred, has claimed that Rob Kardashian actively took evidence away from the scene of the murder, hiding it in a briefcase and surpressing it during the murder trial.

He says the evidence Rob possessed 'would have convicted the killer,' which is what he calls OJ - refusing the refer to him by his name.

Rob Kardashian died in 2003 of cancer, meaning the wherabouts of this supposed missing evidence will never be known.

On the 20th anniversary of the killings, Goldman spoke to the MailOnline of his pain at his young son's death.

'I still cry about my son and anything can trigger this emotion. It may be just a thought, a memory, a conversation, just a word or is someone reminded me of him.'

Ron Goldman was just 25 years old when he was stabbed 60 times at Nicole's home. OJ's ex-wife Nicole however, had her throat slit so severely that she was almost decapitated, and had knife wounds to the rest of her body.

OJ Simpson was acquitted of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, but 13 years later was convicted of kidnapping, robbery and assault with deadly weapon. After his conviction, Fred and his wife Kim sent the former sport's star a card saying: 'We hope you enjoy your new home' as he entered prison to start his 33 year sentence.

It is believed that on the night Rob Goldman died, he had dropped by Nicole's house to drop off some sunglasses she had left behind at a restaurant.
