Kim Kardashian put on a united front last week posting a cute family snap of herself with hubby Kanye West and baby North at the zoo – but insiders say Kim Kardashian was secretly feeling the strain after her stepfather Bruce Jenner’s mum appeared to confirm that he is undergoing a sex change.
Speaking out in support of her son, Esther Jenner announced: “I just learned about [his transition]. Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it. I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instils enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted.”
Now friends say Kim, 35, is battling to support her stepdad, 65, even though it’s caused tension in her relationship with husband Kanye – who is keen to focus their attention on having baby number two. The rapper confirmed they wanted another child last week, saying: “Yeah, we’re trying. I just want whatever Kim wants.” However, sources say Kim – who gave birth to daughter North in June 2013 – is finding it hard to concentrate on their baby plans when Bruce is going through so much.
An insider reveals: “Kim and Kanye both want a second baby and they even came up with a sex schedule to increase their chances of conceiving. Her team are aware of it so they can book shoots and promo work at the right times, and she’s also been eating a special diet to boost her egg production.
“But with everything that’s going on with Bruce right now, Kim’s starting to find it all too much – and is feeling a little under fire. She rowed with Kanye last week after telling him she felt like she was under too much pressure at the moment. She’s asked if they can take some time out from the schedule so she can at least have some down time while she helps support her stepdad.
“Kanye’s made it clear that he doesn’t want to wait for baby number two, but he’s told Kim he’ll give her some space.”
