The 34-year-old and Kanye, 38, tied the knot last May, but she previously wed Damon Thomas and Kris Humphries.
Speaking to Glamour, Kim said: "There was flirting before, so it was obvious there was attraction, but there was a moment in my mind that clicked when I was like, I'm going to give this a shot.
"I went through so many mistakes that must have hurt Kanye, watching me get married, knowing, that's not the right situation for you.
"So it was a great feeling when I was finally like, 'OK, this is'. My only regret is that I didn't give it s shot sooner. It would have saved so much BS. I feel like I got the fairytale."
Kim and Kanye are already parents to two-year-old daughter North, and she announced earlier this month that they're expecting their second child.
She was recently forced to deny rumours that they are planning to name the new baby South.
"I mean, everyone keeps on saying South and I think it's so stupid. Stupidest thing ever and just ridiculous," she said.
