Kim Kardashian’s panic over Kanye West’s tell-all: ‘He could destroy me’

It’s been almost a year since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, but after initially vowing to remain amicable, the pair are now hardly speaking – sparking fears among the Kardashian clan that the rapper could spill their biggest secrets.

Insiders say the family is becoming increasingly concerned that Kanye could reveal private details about them amid the exes’ bitter rows over their four children and Kanye’s latest string of public outbursts, which included threatening to beat-up Kim’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, 28.

In his new track, Eazy, the hit-maker 44, raps, “God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a-- (Who?).”

Just days later, the outspoken star shockingly claimed Kim, 41, had refused to give him the address of their second youngest child Chicago’s fourth birthday party, and had security stop him at the door.

In a video posted on his social media, the angry star ranted, “I just gotta shout out to Travis Scott [Kylie Jenner’s partner] for sending me the address and the time and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter.

“Kylie let me in right when I got to the spot cause security stopped me once again when I got there.”

It came after the dad-of-four – who reportedly suffered a nervous breakdown in 2016 amid his long-term mental health battle – alleged his estranged wife wouldn’t let him inside the home they once shared after dropping off their children, who also include eight-year-old daughter North and sons Saint, six, and Psalm, two, because Pete was inside.

And pals tell Closer that after his latest outburst, Kim is in a state of panic that her ex will use his next album, Donda 2, to make his final twist of the knife.

A source says, “Kim is very worried about what he will spill in his new album or in a TV tell-all, given he is clearly angry at her and has no filter or censor.

“Naturally, throughout their nine-year relationship he’s been privy to so many things she’d want to remain secret and which she feels could potentially threaten to destroy her peace of mind, cause upset in her family and maybe even damage her career.

“While she says she has a clear conscience, she knows things can be twisted – and he’s already upset her immensely in the past with shocking revelations.”

After a rocky few months, the nail in the coffin for Kim and Kanye’s marriage is said to have come during his presidential rally in June 2020, after he revealed they had discussed aborting North and labelled her family “white supremacists”.

He also publicly attacked Kim’s “momager” Kris Jenner, 66, saying she “tried to lock me up”, while falsely accusing Kim of having an affair, which he later apologised for. Kim filed for divorce in February last year.

The source says, “Even though Kim knows she is as famous and powerful as Kanye in her own right, she has also seen how that can come crumbling down in a heartbeat, especially with the so-called ‘cancel culture’, as it did when [US model] Chrissy Teigen was accused of being a troll.

“Kim wanted to remain amicable with Kanye to avoid all of this, but it just wasn’t feasible when he mistook her friendship as a hint that they could get back together.”

Over the last few months, Kanye has repeatedly spoken about his longing for a reconciliation with his wife – begging her to “run right back” to him and vowing to “get my family back” during on-stage performances, before snapping-up a mansion opposite hers in a bid to stay close.

But as the mum-of-four’s relationship with Pete continued to heat up, Kanye struck-up a romance with Italian model and actress Julia Fox – packing on the PDAs with his new muse over the last few weeks. Last week, the mum-of-one – who’s raised eyebrows for copying Kim’s style recently – opened-up about her “transformation” since meeting Kanye earlier this month, saying , “It was the most instant, natural, organic attraction and connection. I just feel really safe with him. It’s a redemption story.”

However, pals say Kanye’s inability to win back Kim with his “rebound fling” pushed him over the edge.

The source says, “Kanye’s public attempts to rile Kim didn’t get the reaction he’d hoped for and instead backfired – pushing her closer to Pete, which has upset him.”

The music star has a history of public confrontations and anger issues, most recently being accused of allegedly punching an autograph-seeking fan, while he also has two previous arrests for alleged acts of violence which led to court-ordered anger management.

The source says, “Kim’s been trying her best to keep the peace, but she’s understandably very worried about what he’ll say next.”

After reportedly being banned from Chicago’s party, the rapper furiously told his fans, “This is the kind of games that’s being played. It’s the kind of thing that’s affected my health for the longest. I’m taking control of my narrative this year and I’m not gonna let this happen.”

However, sources say Kris – who was seen chatting to her estranged son-in-law at the party – has stepped in to play peacemaker in her bid to save their family empire from potential ruin.

A source adds, “Kris has been trying to mediate and help Kanye see that they’re on the same team.

“She has told him he will always be a big part of the family and she’ll always see him as a son, in a bid to stop more bad feelings.

“In her eyes, keeping Kanye in the fold is the only way to stop him from trying to destroy her brand – but if he doesn’t come around, she’ll have no choice but to hire the best lawyers money can buy to slap him with a gagging order.

“Ultimately, Kim still loves Kanye as a person and just wants them to both be able to peacefully move on with their lives so they can enjoy a healthy and close co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children – who are their number one priority over everything.”
