It’s war! Kim Kardashian plots revenge after Kanye’s shock marriage proposal

Despite dating for less than a month, Kanye West and new “muse” Julia Fox have flaunted their whirlwind romance in a series of PDAs. And insiders say the rapper is already on the verge of proposing to the Italian-born model, leaving his ex, Kim, furious.

Although he’s legally still married to Kim, 41, insiders say Kanye is so serious about “new muse” Julia, 31, that he’s already given her a ring.

A source says, “Kanye’s head-over-heels for Julia and has told friends he’s keen to pop the question. He isn’t one to hang about – when he knows he wants something, he has to have it. After everything he’s been through over the last few years, he doesn’t want to waste any more time being unhappy.

“He feels Julia is his perfect match and he wants to ensure she knows just how serious he is about their future together. He even gave her a bespoke ring in Paris, as a ‘promise ring.’”

But after hearing about Kanye’s plans, pals say Kim is reeling at the thought of Julia not only becoming stepmum to her kids, but stealing her thunder, too. According to a source, she learned of his intentions from her “momager”, Kris Jenner, 66, who has been mediating between the warring exes.

The source adds, “Kanye told Kris that he wants to introduce Julia to the kids and dropped in the fact she could be his wife one day. Needless to say, Kim is outraged. While she knew the day would eventually come when a new woman would be in their lives, she never dreamed it would be this soon, let alone someone who seems to be on a mission to step on her toes and become ‘the new Kim’.”

Until recently, little was known about budding actress Julia, but she and Kanye looked every inch the power couple during a Paris Fashion Week event last week. They donned a series of matching outfits, which was no doubt a kick in the teeth for fashionista Kim, who became Kanye’s muse during their nine years together. And while she and Kanye were famously dubbed Kimye, Julia has now coined her own nickname for her and her man – Juliye.

When asked about speculation that Kanye chooses her look – which is strikingly similar to Kim’s – Julia certainly wasn’t lacking confidence. “I’ve always been someone’s muse,” she said, before adding, “that’s why I feel like I’m a really good candidate for this position [of Kanye’s girlfriend] because a lot of people in my shoes would probably be reading the comments and freaking out.”

And the seemingly fearless actress insisted she “couldn’t care less” about the recent attention over her relationship with the rapper. Slamming critics who accused her of using the romance for publicity, she said, “People are like, ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real.”

Julia has also gushed about her connection with the dad-of-four, who shares North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, with Kim.

“I talk very fast and I can have 10 trains of thought,” she said. “What’s really exciting about him is that any idea can become a reality. Anything is possible. Any dream is possible. And I love that. He’s just such a doer.”

Despite a seemingly amicable split last February, Kim and Kanye are reportedly no longer on speaking terms following a series of bitter fallouts.

The rapper made a thinly veiled dig at Pete Davidson, Kim’s Saturday Night Live star boyfriend, 28, in new song lyrics, writing he’d “beat Pete Davidson’s ass”, and last week Kim was forced to deny Kanye’s claim that she’d made a second sex tape with ex Ray-J in 2002. The first, which was released in 2007, catapulted her to fame.

But sources say that while Kim is “seething” at the news of Kanye’s imminent proposal, she’s also plotting to get her revenge. Last week, after Kanye and Julia’s loved-up display, she stunned fans and put herself firmly back in the spotlight with a bikini photo shoot.

A source adds, “Kim’s happy that Kanye’s found love again, but she’s concerned at how fast they’re moving and how brazen Julia is. She feels she’s morphing into her and appearing to have no qualms about putting herself on the map. Kim’s been blown away by her over-confidence and feels that Julia is trying to push her back into the shadows.

“While Kim’s been maintaining a dignified silence and trying to be sensitive about her romance with Pete, she’s now determined not to hold back. She wants revenge, and neither are willing to back down, so it looks like a war will break out between them. She wants to put Julia in her place and cement her position as the bigger star.”
