Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may dote on daughter North West, but the showbiz pair are reportedly desperate to ensure they have a boy this time around.
A source told The Daily Star: "Kanye is desperate for a son so they've been looking up ways to increase their chances of having a boy.
"They read online that having sex standing up can help, so he's insisting that's what they do… and [they] have started eating plenty of red meat, bananas and crisps, because they are all said to increase the likelihood of having a baby boy."
The source continues to explain that Kim "hated being pregnant with North" , so she only intends to get pregnant once more - hence Kanye's apparent desperation to have a boy this time.

"He's desperate to have a boy and have his own mini-me, so he's really hoping he'll get lucky. He's become quite obsessed with it."
Boy or not, it has been heavily reported that Kim, 34, is already pregnant after she 'accidentally' let her good news slip during a recent interview.
Talking to beauty-blogging duo Pixiwoo about her maternity wardrobe, she revealed: "I just wore my regular clothes. I would just buy a size up."
"I don't know if I would necessarily do that this time around.
"I would wear…" she trailed off, looking a little flustered.
The video was released shortly after Kim stepped out onto the red carpet with husband Kanye West, showing off what seemed to be a teeny-weeny baby bump.

Kim even posted a photo of herself and her husband from the event to Instagram, captioning it 'Secrets'.
We guess we'll have to wait and see if the couple release an official announcement anytime soon…
