The reality star – who was frequently in the public eye before the birth – revealed that she has been spending time at home to ‘fully embrace motherhood.’

‘These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life,’ she wrote.

‘I’m enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family.’

The new mum went on to thank her fans for their support, writing: ‘I’ve been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes.

'It truly means everything to me'

‘I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment. Xo’

The world has yet to catch a glimpse of baby North however - although her mother Kris Jenner did tease fans by appearing with a baby that belonged to her stylist during the debut episode of her talk show ‘Kris’ this week.

Khloe Kardashian posted a rare post-baby photo of her sister last month

But Kim herself has yet to make a public appearance since the arrival of her daughter – apart from an alleged sighting in Southern California earlier this week.

A US gossip site reported that Kim was spotted wearing a disguise as she travelled in her nanny’s car.

A picture posted by her sister Khloe, of the star napping, has been the only picture we have seen of her since she was released from hospital on June 21 – despite her being a prolific tweeter and ‘selfie’ taker before the birth.
