Her journey to fall pregnant a second time has been a tough one, fraught with months of IVF treatment and tears, but last week Kim Kardashian announced the news that she was finally expecting with husband Kanye West.

Insiders reveal that while the couple are over the moon to be having a sibling for 23-month-old North, their marriage has been through months of tension.

A source says: “Kim and Kanye have been arguing a lot. She thought the pregnancy would bring them closer again, but in some ways it’s had the opposite effect. Kim is feeling unattractive and suffering from morning sickness. And instead of pushing her to get pregnant, she feels Kanye has started picking at her over her career decisions. Kim’s been in tears and says she’s sick of all the fighting. She’s telling friends they need to work to save their marriage before the new baby arrives.”

Kim and Kanye’s relationship has faced months of scrutiny, with reports the rapper’s controlling ways have left Kim, 34, feeling increasingly suffocated – after Kanye, 37, took charge of her wardrobe choices, her exercise regime and career. And as Closer previously reported, the pressure to conceive baby number two also put a strain on the pair, with Kim telling pals that IVF treatment was making her moody.

But sources say Kim – who’s thought to be three months pregnant – will do anything to get the relationship back on track and has suggest they attend “marriage boot camp.”
