Rumours of transgenderism have surrounded 65-year-old Bruce for some time now, after reports he’d had his Adam’s apple flattened and pictures of him sporting longer hair and manicured nails.
While neither openly confirming or denying the rumours, Kim, 34, insisted Bruce is ‘the happiest’ she’s ever seen him.
She told ET Online: “I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right. I feel like that’s his journey to talk about.”
After a US magazine featured an image of Bruce edited to make it look like he was wearing make-up, the Kardashian-Jenner girls took to Instagram to show their support.
Uploading a snap of her with sisters Kourtney, 35, Khloe, 30, Kendall, 19, and 17-year-old Kylie surrounding Bruce, Kim wrote: “Family First.”
Kim continued that they will always have Bruce’s back, adding: “Of course we support Bruce 100 per cent.”
She said: “He’s our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about. I just think it’s his story to talk about, not really mine.”
Kim – who shares one-year-old daughter North with husband Kanye West – also denied reports she is pregnant, adding: “We’ve been trying, we’ve been trying! I pray about it.”
