However, sources reveal that what should have been a romantic break led to rows over Kim’s mum and manager,
Kris Jenner, who has asked Kanye, 35, to sign a “pre-baby contract” ahead of the birth of their first child in July.
A pal says: “Kris wants to have control over the baby’s first public pictures, product endorsements and Kim’s post-pregnancy weight loss.
Kris is also trying to think ahead in case the couple split – although obviously she hopes that won’t happen.
“Kanye and Kim rowed about the suggested contract. Kim initially wanted to keep her mum happy, but Kanye said she should stand up to Kris. He told Kim: ‘Tell your mum I won’t be signing anything! I want to keep my personal life and business life separate.’”

In January, Kim, 32, claimed on US TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live that she plans to keep her and Kanye’s baby out of the limelight, saying: “We’ll try and keep it as private as possible.”

But sources say she’s been having second thoughts and has been feeling under pressure from her mum. Kris, 57, who launched her family’s hit reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007, manages all her daughters’ multimillion-pound careers, earning her the nickname “the momager.”
And last month, Kris was reportedly furious after Kim hinted in a magazine interview that she was thinking about quitting the show, causing her to quickly backtrack.
Insiders say after their tense time in Paris, Kim – who was pictured showing off her pregnancy curves in a cream maxi dress in LA last week – told Kris to “stop meddling” in her and Kanye’s future.
