Immediately, one follower asked him how his wife and children were, to which he responded: "Really good thank you."

But after the birth of their second child together last month, the mum-of-five admitted she had forgiven her husband of just over a year and that they are working on their relationship.

After her initial revelation, telling her Twitter followers that Kieran had been having 'full-blown sexual affair' with her friend Jane Pountney, Katie insisted he had a problem and was 'receiving help for sex addiction.'

Katie, 36, hasn't been so forgiving of her former friend's betrayal. She took to Twitter last week to say: "I'll keep on about jane & Chrissy they haven't said SORRY NOTHING,kieran has done something about it goes to therapy & has changed & SORRY [sic]."

She added: "TRUST me kieran hasn't had it easy either & regrets everything, when my new book comes out &you know the whole situation your be gob smacked [sic]."
