Khloe Kardashian ‘still in love’ with Tristan Thompson despite his ‘cruel betrayal’

Khloe Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl last week but her daughter’s arrival was surrounded by the scandal about Tristan Thompson’s reported cheating.

Just days before Khloe went into labour, Tristan was plunged into a sex scandal as he appeared to kiss Lani Blair, a stripper, at a New York nightclub.

Another woman, called Stephanie Lee on Instagram, suggested a video she posted was of her and Tristan having sex, and even claimed she was pregnant.

Just hours later, CCTV footage taken in another club in October last year surfaced, appearing to show the basketball player kiss one woman and nestle his face between another woman’s breasts.

But despite the scandal, Tristan was at Khloe’s side when she gave birth to their child.

A source told Closer: “Her head is angry, but her heart still really loves him as the father of her child. Her main concern was the health of her labour.

“When she held her baby girl, she felt so much love for her and for Tristan, which has made her even more confused by such a cruel betrayal. Seeing him bond with their daughter has made her sad about the idea of ever living life as a single mum.”

It’s not the first time Khloe’s relationship with Tristan has been under the spotlight.

When the pair went public in September 2016 there were rumours that he’d left his pregnant girlfriend to be with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

Sources say that it feels like history is repeating itself for Khloe. Her marriage to Lamar Odom collapsed in 2013 amid a string of cheating scandals.

A source told Closer: “Khloe feels like she’s been to hell and back in recent years.

“She really thought she’d found her fairy tale ending with Tristan. She’s so in love with being a mum, but this isn’t the picture perfect setting she’d imagined for her baby girl.”
