Khloe filed from divorce from Lamar in December following months of speculation that their marriage was in trouble.
Khloe told US Cosmopolitan: ‘It sucks at times, but everything happens for a reason, no matter how sh***y your circumstances are. To say where I want to be in 10 years... I have no idea. I just know that I want to be happy and smiling.’
She continued: ‘I live for the moment. If you think too far in the future, you might get disappointed or set the bar too low.’
Khloe- who was married for 4 years- is making sure she puts prioritises her own happiness following the emotional marriage breakdown, which she has kept relatively private about.
‘Your life is meant for you to understand and process, not to make anyone else happy.’
Khloe has been supported by her sisters in the wake of her divorce, and she recalls how sister Kim was treated following the collapse of her 72 day marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries.
She told the mag: ‘Kim was so thrashed for her marriage and it not working out.’

Khloe’s decision to lay low during her marriage troubles turned out to be an indication of how she was dealing with the trauma of the break up.
‘I'm not a big 'cry on a shoulder' person. I'm very introverted when it comes to my own stuff. Everyone has issues, and I'm not someone who likes to burden people.’
Despite her experience with Lamar, Khloe says she would love to have a family one day: ‘I love kids. I hope and pray I have kids when the time is right.’
She continued: ‘That's just how I am. I hold things in. I don't know why.’
Khloe was interviewd by mum Kris Jenner for the magazine, and the 29-year-old made it clear she wasn’t going to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
‘I would never choose the role of momager. Just the s*** we put you through.'
