Kerry, 34, allegedly called time on their short marriage earlier this week – sending former rugby player George, 35, into meltdown.
The Sun reports that he was hospitalised, with a source telling the newspaper: “[He] didn’t take Kerry’s decision well. He bolted off and went out.
“It all came to head later at the hotel where he had an episode.”
Now mum-of-five Kerry has apparently ‘washed her hands’ of him, just 10-months after saying ‘I Do’.
Another insider said: “George’s party lifestyle doesn’t suit Kerry. He has been going missing regularly and Kerry has said she’s had enough.”
George recently admitted to Closer that marriage to Kerry wasn’t how he’d expected it would be, and she previously revealed they have ‘explosive rows’ over money.
Last month Atomic Kitten singer Kerry pleaded with her Twitter followers to pray for George, with whom she shares daughter Dylan-Jorge Rose, after he was rushed to hospital with signs of a suspected stroke.
In August last year, shortly before they tied the knot, George was detained under the Mental Health Act, after having a breakdown in the street outside their home.
According to reports at the time, Kerry watched in tears as five policeman struggled to restrain George.
Kerry is also mum to Molly, 13, and Lily-Sue, 12, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, eight, and seven-year-old Max, who she shares with ex-husband Mark Croft.
