Just days after it was revealed the 34-year-old got a free sofa in exchange for a personal appearance (because, why not?), Kerry has been praising a discount food website.

Atomic Kitten singer Kerry tweeted praise for ApprovedFood.co.uk, which specialises in food that’s gone past its best-before date.

Taking to Twitter, the mum-of-five gushed: “Got to say I’m sooo impressed with @ApprovedFood got all my food the very next morning and saved over £30! Very happy bunny thank you [sic].”

The website is open about its policy, writing: “The majority of our stock is short-dated or past its best before date we are able to buy in large quantities and pass considerable savings on to our customers [sic].”

At the weekend Kerry made a special appearance at a garden centre in Warwickshire, and the venue confirmed how they were paying the former Queen of the Jungle for her services.

A spokesperson told The Sun: “Admittedly, we’ve had to offer a brand new Silvertex corner unit for her and the family to lounge around on in their new home but, hey, needs must and all that.”

After receiving a bit of stick for being paid in furniture, Kerry hit back on Twitter.

Replying to a fan, Kerry wrote: “I can’t do anything right these days! X [sic].”
