She recently split from her third husband but Kerry Katona isn’t ruling out finding her happy ever after.

Kerry, 35, called time on her marriage to former rugby player George Kay, following allegations he attacked her with a taser.

Earlier this month George, 36, appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the assault, and now mum-of-five Kerry has opened up about moving on.

Speaking to The Sun, the Atomic Kitten singer said: “Oh my god, no I haven’t ruled out marriage. My problem is I’m an old romantic. I want that happy ending. For now that’s a hell of a long time away. I’m just learning to understand the kind of respect I deserve.”

Kerry and George, who share one-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge Rose, tied the knot in September 2014 and split just a month after their first year anniversary.

At the time, a rep for Kerry said: “It is with deep sadness 'Kerry announces the end of her marriage to George Kay. Her focus now will be on her gorgeous children."

Now the former Queen of the Jungle insists she does want to fall in love again – but with herself this time.

She said: “What I really want out of life is to learn to love myself and raise my standards. It’ll take a long time to love myself, but I’m getting there and I’m happy.”

However Kerry is not ruling out another bad boy, adding: “You fall in love and you fall in love.”

Kerry married first husband Brian McFadden in January 2002, and they have daughters Molly, 14, and 12-year-old Lily-Sue.

Former Westlife singer Brian and Kerry split in September 2004, and on Valentine’s Day 2007 she married cab driver Mark Croft. They went on to have daughter Heidi, eight, and seven-year-old son Max.

She and Mark initially split in March 2009 and, after a brief reconciliation, divorced in 2011.
