According to reports, Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has ‘split’ from husband George Kay.
The couple wed last September, but have allegedly been struggling through marriage difficulties.
A source told The Sun: “George’s party lifestyle doesn’t suit Kerry. He has been going missing regularly and Kerry has said she has had enough. She has had such a rough time over the past year or so and he hasn’t been able to support her at all.
“All he’s bothered about is how he looks, going back to Warrington to see his friends and partying. And he’s done nothing to support her financially or emotionally.
“She says she feels like she is putting her own kids through what she went through when she was younger with her mum and a string of bad men.”
The alleged split comes as a shock for fans, especially as the couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Dylan-Jorge, last summer.
They also care for Kerry’s children from her first two marriages, Molly, 14, Lily-Sue, 12, Heidi, 8, and Maxwell, 7.
Reports of a split come following a cryptic tweet from Kerry's Twitter account at the weekend.
She wrote: "Funny how life can change in a split second and your eyes have been open xxxx."
A source close to the family then added that the split may only be temporary.
They told the paper: “There’s every chance they could be back together in a week but Kerry is upset.”
The couple were left shaken when George was rushed to hospital last month after suffering what they thought was a stroke.
George is now recovering, but doctors are continuing to investigate the terrifying health emergency.
