Kerry Katona has shown off just how much her children love stepfather George Kay, revealing that eldest daughter Molly - whose father is Brian McFadden - wrote an extra-special card for George on Father's Day this year.

The card, which Kerry proudly shared on Twitter, contained a handwritten poem.

It read: *I know I haven't always said *

How I appreciate what you do.

*So I'm saying now, how blessed I feel, *

To have a step-dad just like you.

*I never got to choose you, *

You just became my 'dad'

So I'm grateful to my mother

For the great taste that she had.

Kerry Katona, 33, uploaded a photograph of the card to Twitter, captioning it: "Molly just came home from being away for the weekend and gave George his card! Love it @mrgsjkay xxxxxx"

She also added: "Hope you've had a lovely day my darling!! Your amazing, I love how all the kids adore you @mrgsjkay so much so the cards made you cry :-) xx [sic]"

Fans were blown away by the sweet, neatly-written message, with one responding: "Wow, amazing. So glad you guys have found each other and found happiness."

Another user commented: "That's so sweet! Wish I had been that lucky in the stepdad department. Luckily, I have a wonderful stepmum!"

One more added: "This has just made my heart melt; Kerry, you must be so proud. Treasure it."

Molly and Lilly-Sue's father, Brian McFadden, who divorced Kerry in 2006, has chosen not to respond to the Twitter post. However some have suggested that Kerry's comment will have dented the former Westlife singer's pride somewhat.

Kerry's fiancé George Kay welcomed his first child, a daughter named Dylan-Jorge Rose, with Kerry earlier this year. He is also playing stepfather to children Molly and Lilly-Sue McFadden, as well as Kerry's children from her marriage to Mark Croft, Heidi and Maxwell Croft.
