Kerry Katona is no stranger to drama in her life, but she appeared to have her fairytale ending when she began dating George Kay two years ago.

But last week it all came crashing down when George was detained by police under the mental health act after he was found shouting in the street that someone was going to kill him. He was taken to an Oxford hospital but discharged the same evening.

In this week’s Closer we reveal Kerry’s reaction to the incident – that happened just weeks before the couple's wedding.

A source says: “Kerry's inconsolable. She’s horrified that George had this meltdown just weeks before their big day. She feels completely devastated.”

Despite the upheaval insiders say determined Kerry wont let anything stop her from walking down the aisle.

The source adds: “Kerry still thinks George is ‘The One’ and says she’d never have got through the last few years without him. She still wants to get married and thinks they can work through their problems together.”
