After reading reports claiming that Kerry Katona had thrown George Kay out of the house they share together, Chantelle Houghton laid into the Atomic Kitten star via her column.
Writing in new! magazine, Alex Reid’s ex said cattily: "I'm so over Kerry. It's just one thing after another with her.
"Kerry Katona throwing out her husband, George Kay, is obviously a bit sad, but I feel like it was always going to happen."
The 31-year-old added: "How much drama can one woman have in her life?"
Her comments, unsurprisingly, left Kerry furious.
The mother-of-five took to Twitter to fire off a message at Chantelle, writing: “Before you judge someone, look deep in the mirror and say ‘do I really have the right?’
“We all have our issues we deal with. Not my place to judge, is it yours?
“Judgemental people are so miserable they have to drag others down and put them down to make themselves feel better.
“These people are fame hungry has-beens!
“So sorry, was I being judgemental?”
She added scathingly: “What a shame it’s your last column… all the best for the future.”
And, leaving no doubt whatsoever that her messages were well and truly aimed at Chantelle, Kerry posted a second message.
She wrote: “I just wanted to say no hard feelings for your comments and kicking a mother while she is down… I’m sure it was a last attempt at making some kind of press for yourself.
“As you of all people would know how very quickly YOU yourself got judge, going out with Katie’s sloppy seconds.”
She finished firmly: “You’ve wasted enough of my time but I’m hoping that many people will take [you as an example] and think before they speak!”
Wowzer. Lesson learned: do NOT mess with Kerry Katona.
