Kerry Katona’s chaotic life
took another dramatic twist when her estranged husband George Kay was last week charged with assaulting her and the unlawful possession of a Taser gun. The mum of five had apparently been left with “cuts and bruises” after George allegedly attacked her last month.

Kerry, 35, called time on their one-year marriage after the alleged attack, but now pals say she’s terrified of how George will plead on 26 November. If he pleads not guilty, she’ll have to face him in court when the case goes to trial next year.

A source reveals: “Kerry’s glad George has been charged, but she’s feeling really scared and anxious about having to be a witness. She knows it will bring up painful memories. His behaviour throughout their relationship has been unpredictable and she’s relieved to have him out of her life, but she knows that she’ll have to deal with the court case.”
