The 33-year-old star recently gave birth to her fifth child, daughter Dylan-Jorge Rose, admitted that post-natal depression is worry for her, which makes her even more determined.
She told The Sun: “The world is full of fast food. Everything comes in extra large. Everything has chips or a fizzy drink on the side. There was a time in my life when I struggled to say no to anything.
“My exercise regime used to consist of a line of coke and a kebab. For years I didn’t look after my body, I took drugs, I ate.”
Kerry and her fiancé George Kay are set to get married later this year, and fitting into her wedding dress is another big motivation for Atomic Kitten star Kerry.
“I’ve seen a few dresses but I haven’t picked one yet,” she told the newspaper. “I want to wait until I’m back in shape. Also, I don’t want to be known as ‘the fat one’ in Atomic Kitten.”
But there is a more serious reason for Kerry wanting to shed her baby weight and get fit again. The former Queen of the Jungle, who has bi-polar disorder, said: “I don’t want to end up with post-natal depression so I feel it’s now time for me to get active again and start thinking about what I eat.”
Although she’s determined, Kerry isn’t going to push her self and she is realistic.
She said: “I’ve only just had a baby and I’m not expecting to look like Kate Moss, but at the moment, I don’t feel healthy. There are a lot of wobbly bits. I hate my tummy.”
Kerry is also mum to Mollie and Lily-Sue, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, and Max and Heidi from her relationship with Mark Croft.
