Last week, we watched as Kerry Katona took a seat on the Loose Women panel to defend her teenage daughter from vile cyber-bullies.
Molly was body-shamed on social media after paparazzi snapped her during a family day out at Thorpe Park.
"Kerry Katona's oldest child Molly needs to go one SERIOUS diet. My god," one cruel Twitter user wrote.
“She needs to educate her daughter about healthy eating and exercise," another added.
Speaking about the abuse, Kerry said: "It's horrendous… it was the most unflattering picture of my daughter.
"I could see straight away what was going to happen – that it would revolve around her weight.
“The sad thing is how it escalated on social media.”
Her 14-year-old daughter bravely added: "Trolling can be really hurtful and damage some peoples' self-esteem," she said in a written statement.
"But personally it doesn't affect me because I'm a really strong person and was brought up by really strong parents. I think it's kind of pathetic and childish."
Watch the discussion for yourself below:
Janet Street Porter asked Kerry if the experience had encouraged her to shelter her children online.
She replied firmly: "[Trolling] happens wherever they go, I'm not going to stop them going on social media."
"It makes them stronger to see what people will say."
However, while many praised Kerry for defending her daughter, others decided to set their sights firmly on the mum-of-five instead.
“Kerry Katona looks like something off my big fat gypsy wedding,” one said.
Another added spitefully: “When did Kerry Katona become so fat? Her hair is as fake as she is.”
Their harsh words come just months after Kerry revealed that she isn’t focused on her body; she’s focused on her health and wellbeing.
She told OK! Magazine: “This isn’t about my body, this is all to do with my mindset.
“I could be a size 14 and feel great.”
You tell ‘em, Kerry!
