Following the death of her beloved nan, Kerry Katona told her Twitter followers: "My family is in so much pain right.
"It hurts so much."

"Thank you all for your kind words xxxxxx [sic]"
The mum-of-five added: "If tears could build a staircase up to heaven, I'd come up there and bring you right back down here xxxxxxxxxx"
Kerry Katona also shared a tender poem, posted to her by one of her Twitter followers, into her timeline.

Reading the lyrics, it seems to have given the grieving Atomic Kitten star comfort, reading: "Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see."
It is not just Kerry who is feeling the loss of her beloved grandmother; husband-to-be George Kay also posted a tender goodbye to one of the most important people in Kerry's life.

He wrote: "So glad we got to see you yesterday 1 last time.. Watch over us all & keep us safe nan.. See you on the other side xx"
He included a photograph of himself and Kerry's nan.
It is the latest in a series of blows to Kerry, who has had a very difficult few months.
Just a few weeks ago, George began behaving erratically after taking steroids and was sectioned under the Mental Health Act by police officers.
But Kerry has since admitted that, despite the ordeal her new partner has put her through, she is still madly in love with the former rugby league player.
She said in an interview: “I say I want to beat the s**t of him, but my love is greater now than ever.
Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
