Kerry Katona must be proud of her daughter Lily today after she gave some back to jealous trolls who threw shade at her sister’s birthday present.
The Atomic Kitten has two daughters with former Westlife singer, Brian McFadden – Lilly, 13, and Molly who turned 15 yesterday and was showered with amazing gifts from her pop star mum.
A chuffed Molly shared a picture of her Minion-themed birthday card and a diamond-encrusted Michael Kors watch on Twitter:
Unfortunately there’s always someone to ruin the moment, with one troll firing off this petty comment to the whole family: “Such a cheap watch but then again you are bankrupt over and over again Kerry. shame”
Not to be outdone by her mother’s fighting spirit, Lilly McFadden responded with some brilliant comebacks that prove she’s inherited the Katona talent for scathing comebacks and perfectly timed sarcasm.
She wrote: “your right my mother is a vile person I hate her all she got my sister is a choc lab puppy & a diamond mk watch I’m ashamed”
Then stole Kerry's punchline about disposable kids with the comment: “and before you ask how she payed for it in typical Kerry katona style she sold one of her kids for it miss you dj :( ”
She finished her take down with: “It’s so horrible having a wicked twisted mother who will go to the ends of the earth to please me and my sibling grrr I hate my life!”
Kerry was quick to retweet the messages and get her own jibe in. She wrote: “What a horrible mother I am! Sooner or later people are gonna realise they shouldn’t mess with my kids.”
Lily’s Twitter account is now choc-a-block with supporting comments and favourites for her cheeky responses.
We’re sure Molly is enjoying her sister’s triumph but maybe not as much as her new Labrador puppy, Charlie Brown.
The gorgeous dog was a gift from Kerry’s controversial partner George Kay and has already made quite an impression on the whole brood.
Kerry shared a picture of the pair on Twitter with the caption: “Think I was out done on birthday gifts 4 @123_mollymc as @mrgsjkay did 1 better than me with the cuties puppy ever!”
Molly’s father also wished her happy birthday on Twitter with this throwback snap: "To think this little baby @123_mollymc is 15!!!!!!crazy."
With the trolls put in their place and a beautiful puppy to play with, we’re sure the girls are continuing their celebrations today.
