She’s said to be raking in more than £5,000 a month and has garnered almost 90,000 subscribers after setting up her OnlyFans account.
And while she has credited the X-rated site for boosting both her income and her confidence, friends say Kerry Katona is now in two minds about whether to continue to post topless pictures for money after getting engaged to her partner Ryan Mahoney on her 40th birthday last month.
Last week, during a joint chat on Loose Women, Kerry said she was “finally happy and in love”, adding “I want that happy ending and I’m doing it the right way.”
The mum of five added that she doesn’t want any more children “as of yet” – jokingly adding that she’s bucking her usual trend of “having a baby, [being] engaged, married and divorced” within two and a half years.
However, a source told Closer that in private, the loved-up couple had spoken about having one “sooner rather than later” as Ryan, 32 – who revealed last week he took DJ, Max and Heidi with him to choose their mum’s engagement ring – is itching to become a dad, while Kerry is aware of her biological clock ticking.
And a source tells Closer that, despite being one of the most desired celebrities on the site, Kerry now faces a dilemma.
“Kerry loves doing OnlyFans – she has worked hard for her body and is proud of it, so she’s happy being able to control the pictures people see of her while making money,” says the insider.
“But there has been a change in dynamics recently, as she and Ryan are planning their wedding and secretly hoping Kerry could fall pregnant soon.”
Kerry started sharing risqué pictures to earn money during lockdown as much of her work was cancelled, including a successful run in panto. But the former Atomic Kitten singer – who is mum to Molly, 18, Lilly-Sue, 17, Heidi, 13, Max, 12, and Dylan-Jorge, six – is conscious of the fact her profile on the site may not fit in with her future plans with Ryan.

Atomic Kitten WATN - STACKED
Atomic Kitten
Glam girl band Atomic Kitten were formed in 1998, but it wasn't until 1999 that their unforgettable debut single 'Right Now' landed in the UK Top 10 music charts. They split in 2004, but came back on stage for a reunion in 2014. Check out where each of the band members are now...
Kerry Katona THEN
Founding member Kerry Katona broke all of our hearts when she announced her decision to leave the band to focus on marriage and family. She wed Westlife singer Brian McFadden in 2002, with whom she shares her eldest daughters, Molly Marie and Lilly-Sue.
Kerry Katona NOW
The next decade for Kerry involved becoming the queen of supermarket chain Iceland, then losing lots of money (weep), a string of unhappy marriages and alleged drunk binges - ahem, who remembers THAT infamous 2008 This Morning Interview? But by 2018, the mum-of-four had turned her life around and in 2019, she was even ready to look for love again, appearing on Celebs Go Dating. Alas, Kerry didn't find the one during her time on the show, but she is currently bossing life as a working mum. Go, Kerry.
Liz McClarnon THEN
Liz McClarnon NOW
While she's not as regular a telly guest as the likes of her fellow band members, Liz McClarnon has still starred in Celebrity Masterchef (which she won with her delicious dishes) and remains in the TV and music industry. Keeping a low profile eh, Liz?
Jenny Frost THEN
Jenny from the block had been a member of the girl band Precious before she replaced Kerry Katona in 2001, when she was just 23. The singer stuck with the band until their split in 2004.
Jenny Frost NOW
After she ditched the er, very sheer tops and parted ways from Atomic Kitten, Jenny Frost developed a successful career as a TV presenter across hit shows like BBC 3's 'Snog Marry Avoid' - who else remembers this legendary makeover show?
Natasha Hamilton THEN
Natasha joined Atomic Kitten in 1999, replacing original band member Heidi Range - who was with the group before any songs were released. The original mutl-tasking mum, Natasha even decided to take her baby with her on the 2003 tour with Atomic Kitten. Absolute goals.
Natasha Hamilton NOW
Since the '00s, Natasha Hamilton has been doing the rounds on the celebrity television circuit, with appearances on Celebrity Come Dine With Me, Celebrity Big Brother and First Dates. Plus, she's now a mummy to four kids - and she followed in Gwyneth Paltrow's footsteps by eating her placenta.
The source adds, “Kerry’s chuffed with how well OnlyFans has gone for her, and she’s made a lot of money and moved into a new home. But she says it was never meant to be forever and she may have a change of heart if she does fall pregnant soon. She had a tough pregnancy with DJ, so she will be mindful of that and will rest up as much as possible.”
Kerry suffered a difficult childbirth with DJ, and said they both nearly died after she suffered from pre-eclampsia and lost a lot of blood, while her daughter stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated.

The star, who has been married three times – to Brian McFadden, Mark Croft and the late George Kay – previously told Closer that her pursuit to be the “perfect wife” led to her briefly splitting with personal trainer Ryan four months into their relationship, in 2018, explaining, “I put it on pause because I was so scared. After my first marriage broke down, I felt like a failure as a wife and as a mother, and I was so eager to fix it that I would rush into relationships. But I took my time and now, here we are.”
And friends say preparing for married life could be another reason for Kerry to quit posting pictures – although she admits it’d be a tough decision to make.
The source adds, “OnlyFans has given her a boost – financially and emotionally – so if and when the time comes for a baby, quitting won’t be an easy decision. But whatever choice she makes, she knows Ryan will support her. That’s why she loves him so much.”
