She jokingly compared her bikini body to a “whale” while she enjoyed a carefree holiday with fiancé Ryan Mahoney in the summer.

Now Kerry Katona tells Closer that although she’s feeling “miserable” after gaining two and a half stone recently, there’s a silver lining in that at least it’ll save her money on energy bills during the cost of living crisis!

She says, “I’ve put on about two and a half stone and I’m now a size 14, which is making me miserable. But it’s really cold at the moment and the electricity bills are getting higher and higher. I just saw that and thought it’s better to eat more to get more insulation on my body and save some money at the same time!”

Mum-of-five Kerry, 42, has a history of yo-yo dieting and has undergone cosmetic surgery in the past. Last July, the former pop star – who now earns millions showing off her body on X-rated platform OnlyFans – underwent what she described as a “full MOT”.

After having her fifth boob job, she also had a tummy tuck and liposuction after admitting her body had become “swollen” after she stopped using the controversial SkinnyJab injection and exercising.

Kerry had her first boob job in 2004 and hit headlines four years later when she splashed out on £15,000 worth of surgery just four months after giving birth to her son, Max. She’s since had around three more liposuction procedures, as well as Botox, fillers in her cheeks and lips and a non-surgical tightening procedure on her tummy and bum.

On the Net Mums podcast last month, Kerry – who’s yo-yoed between a size 16 and a size 6 over the years – admitted, “Half my body isn’t mine anyway. I’ve been sliced and diced so many bloody times.”

In 2020, she dropped to a size 6 after losing over a stone and a half, but despite admitting her weight loss had been boosted by “sh***ing a personal trainer” [her fiancé Ryan], Kerry tells Closer she’s let things slip.

She says, “I try to do yoga when I can and I’ve been trying to eat healthily, but I need to control my portion size more. Also, I’ve been working away from home which encourages you to eat sh*t all the time. It’s not good.”

Kerry admits she’ll feel better about her body again after she has corrective surgery in January following a botched tummy tuck last year.

The reality star – who faced bankruptcy in 2008 but now says she rakes in over £600,000 a month on OnlyFans – adds, “I had a tummy tuck and they took away my belly button and left a horrible bit that pops out at the top. I never asked for any of that.

“My stomach looks so swollen now. It’s just a mess. I’m like a f**king flat pack from IKEA, they just need to put me back together again.”

Kerry is also desperate to look after her body after recently freezing her embryos for her planned surrogacy journey with Ryan, 34, who she has been dating for four years after meeting on the Bumble dating app.

Kerry – who is already mum to Mollie, 21, and Lilly-Sue, 19, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 15, and Max, 14, with ex-husband Mark Croft, and eight-year- old Dylan-Jorge, with the late George Kay – says, “Me and the kids are more than enough for Ryan but he hasn’t got any of his own kids biologically.

“We just want to make sure the option is always there in the future because he’s still only 34. “We’re total workaholics at the minute so I don’t think we’ll have a baby straight away. We want to own our own house and keep building our brand!”
