Kelly Osbourne has unveiled on Instagram a very permanent way of keeping the memory and spirit of the Orlando shooting victims alive.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram to share her new tattoo with fans, explaining: "The tragedy in Orlando devastated me and reminded me that every moment of our lives is precious."

And in the caption, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's daughter has explained exactly what the word 'Solidarity' means to her.

The reality star wrote:

"Solidarity: 'Noun. Unity of feeling of individuals with a common interest or purpose.'

"Individually, we have rights and unique gifts. Together, we have strength and powerful harmony.

"I have wanted to get this tattoo for a long time. The tragedy in Orlando devastated me and reminded me that every moment of our lives is precious.

"Every human is precious. Love hard. Live gracefully, authentically and with conviction, respect, purpose and compassion.

"Together we achieve what is impossible to those who stand alone. Those of us who embrace and respect freedom stand together, progress together, celebrate together and grieve together. You are not alone."

Beautiful words, Kelly.

In the immediate aftermath of the tragic shooting in Pulse nightclub in Orlando on Sunday night, Kelly took to Twitter, like so many all over the globe, to share her despair and hurt for the victims, friends and families of those involved.

The tragic massacre - the most deadly mass shooting in American history - was carried out on Sunday 12th June by 29-year-old Omar Mateen. A further 50 were injured in the attack, and the assassin was fatally shot by police at the scene.

Once again, our hearts are with all those grieving the loss of loved ones from an attack on love, freedom and acceptance, in a place that was viewed as a 'safe haven' for so many.
