If you thought you could hear wedding bells ringing yesterday, you were right - Kelly Clarkson has just announced on Twitter that she and Brandon Blackstock were married in an intimate rustic ceremony.
Revealing her exciting news on Twitter, Kelly couldn't hide her excitement as she shared her joy with her followers: "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!"
It was the perfect place for an outdoor ceremony; built in the 1970s and nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains, the lush locale sits on 4,200 acres of greenery - complete with a pop of bright Autumnal colour!
The intimate ceremony was attended by Blackstock's two children, Savannah and Seth, but, otherwise, it was pretty much just the bride, groom and registrar. Which makes sense; after all, Kelly had already said that she and Brandon had decided against having a "big, huge" wedding.
"We're just gonna go off with the kids and go get married," she said. "It's just gonna be literally, seriously small."
Thank goodness, then, for the photos of the big day! Kelly looked seriously beautiful in a full-length lace gown and simple headpiece - and, thanks to her Twitter celebrations this morning, we can now reveal the gown is an Alice Temperley number. And the headpiece? Maria Elena.
"Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress! & thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!"
The fab seasonal bouquet was made up of Sunflowers and Bluebonnets—the official flower of Texas, her home state. What could be more fitting, eh?
