Pop star Kelis has confirmed that she is expecting her second baby.
The 36-year-old- who is already mum to 6-year-old son Knight by ex husband Nas- revealed the happy news in a recent interview.
The singer told Us magazine: “I’m pregnant! I’m so excited! It’s really amazing.”
She then added that she has been craving tomatoes, but luckily her neighbour has offered her the perfect solution.
Kelis said: “My neighbour grows tomatoes and leaves them on my doorstep and I’ll cut them up, use salt and pepper, and just eat them like that!
“If someone talks about a certain food, my pregnancy brain gets so focused and I have to have it!”
Kelis admitted that son Knight is also very excited about the family’s new addition.
“My son is excited to be a brother and I’m thrilled.”
Kelis has been raising son Knight as a single parent since splitting with rapper Nas in 20009.
Along with working on her music, the Milkshake singer is also currently planning on releasing a cookbook.
