Despite being outlandish and wild on stage, Katy admits that when it comes to sex, she is slightly more conservative.
She told a women’s magazine: ‘I’m not like Professor Higgins with my sex life. I'm not super strict… For me, the most important thing about sex is connection.’
Katy is rumoured to be single after splitting up from DJ/producer Diplo following a short-lived romance.
Katy had previously been in a serious relationship singer/songwriter John Mayer, with whom she sang the duet ‘Who You Love.’
Before her relationship with John Mayer, Katy was married to British comedian Russell Brand for one year.
The singer was left heartbroken following their breakup in 2012.
Katy’s recent comments may come as a surprise considering she was married to a man once dubbed as ‘shagger of the year’ by a British tabloid.
But it seems that Katy can’t help but attract men left, right and centre!
When asked how long she has gone without having sex, she said: ‘Maybe six months or a year. I don't stay single for long. I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male.’
‘Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst.’
