Peter Andre has built a career on his clean-cut image, but last week, Peter Andre’s reputation suffered a devastating blow when he was branded a liar by a High Court judge and accused of being “not truthful” when he appeared as a witness during a legal case between TV producer Neville Hendricks and ITV2.
Pals say the case has taken a huge toll on Peter, who fears his reputation has been trashed.
A source says: “Pete has been beside himself that he’s been blasted by a High Court judge – he’s completely devastated. He’s always insisted he’s an honest person and has not lied."
But sources say the recent drama has delighted Peter’s ex-wife Katie Price –who has told pals that now his evidence has been rubbished in court, she’s more confident than ever she can win her legal battle against him.
The pair are set to face each other in court in January and a source says: “Katie can’t hide her glee over the judge’s comments.”
