Katie Price ‘taking drastic action’ to lose lockdown weight in a bid to fall pregnant

Katie Prices is reportedly desperate to lose the stone and a half she’s gained over lockdown to increase her chances of falling pregnant.

Like a lot of us, Katie admits she’s put on a little weight during the pandemic, thanks to being locked down and not being able to walk properly following double foot surgery.

But she’s made no secret of the fact that she wants to start a family with current beau Carl Woods and hopes that getting in tip top physical condition could bring her the baby she wants.

“You can see from pictures that Katie has put on weight and she’s saying she hates the way she looks at the moment,” said a source.

“She’s gained about a stone and a half and it’s mostly from not being able to walk properly after her injury, as well as being in lockdown like the rest of us. She’s determined to get fit, especially because she’s trying to get pregnant.”

“Weight loss is known to jump start fertility, so she’s taking some drastic action to get back into shape.

“She’s not out of the woods with her feet and still can’t walk properly, but she’s ditching takeaways as she wants to be as healthy as she can and she’ll naturally lose it.”

Speaking to new! magazine, the source continued, “Katie is 43 this year and she knows that time is ticking. Stress also plays a part in it. She’s getting stressed because she wants to fall pregnant, but then she’s comfort eating due to stress.”

Despite initially appearing to make an early recovery after breaking both feet last summer, this week Katie found herself back in surgical support boots.

“Katie has been left in agonising pain from walking recently so made a hospital appointment to check on how she's healing.

“Katie is devastated by this as in November she thought she was truly on the path for a full recovery, but she is following medical advice and will be sticking to the boots so that she can hopefully get back on her feet sooner rather than later," they told The Sun.
