Katie Price thanks fans for support after Harvey checks into hospital

Devoted mum Katie Price has thanked her fans for their support, after son Harvey was admitted to hospital on Monday.

Harvey, who suffers from rare genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, was set to undergo a ‘routine operation’ during his stay in Great Ormond Street Hospital this week.

Mum Katie, who has always spoken candidly about her son’s struggles with his disability, thanked her fans for their outpouring of support on Monday.

Speaking the the Mirror, Katie said: ‘Harvey is currently in Great Ormond Street Hospital for a routine operation.

‘He will hopefully be out in a few days but I wanted to say how touched I am by all those asking about his wellbeing.’

The mum of five shared photos of her and Harvey from hospital on Monday afternoon, prompting fans to reach out to the star.

‘My brave boy’ she captioned one snap, before posting two more mother and son shots.

In recent months, Katie revealed her fears for 13-year-old Harvey, admitting she refuses to consider putting him in respite care yet.

‘I just don’t want to feel like I’m letting him down while I go and have fun with the others,’ she told new! magazine.
