She has been shocking fans with her drastically different appearance in the past few months due to having even more surgery on top of her recent dramatic weight loss. But Katie Price has now sparked panic over her worryingly ‘droopy’ eye in recent photos.

Insiders say the 46-year-old has been struggling with this in the aftermath of her most recent facelift last November, with her family and friends growing worried about the long-lasting affect this may have on the former glamour model – and a medical expert telling Closer she risks going blind.

A source tells Closer, ‘Katie's face is causing her grief at the moment. She's had it pulled too tight this time and it's resulted in a droopy eye and a bit of a squint.

‘She's had her face done so many times now that loved ones are worrying she's at risk of permanent nerve damage.’

The mum-of-five underwent her sixth facelift last year, which reportedly cost her £10,000, but has admitted she was left unhappy with some of the results and has already undergone some corrective work.

She told fans on her Snapchat account in January, ‘From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking. Well, they need tweaking.’

Closer revealed earlier this year how she would be going under the knife for a chin and neck lift, a breast reduction and having lip and bum implants. She is also planning to have surgery on her right eye to stop it from ‘drooping’ following her facelift.

And back in January, she flew to Turkey with her Married At First Sight UK star boyfriend JJ Slater to have her ears pinned back and undergo a minor eyelift.

Now, top cosmetic aesthetics doctor Ed Robinson tells Closer that she’s risking nerve damage and even blindness from her surgical treatments. He says, ‘Surgical procedures like a facelift can risk scarring, nerve damage, inflammation, bleeding, and hematomas. All of these can depend on the skills of the person carrying out the procedure as well as the individual patient.

‘Nerve damage and scarring can lead to droopy eyelids post-facelift, but overtreating the forehead via Botox or anti-wrinkle procedures can also lead to very droopy eyebrows. When the anatomy’s been changed with a facelift, the locations where one has had treatments done before can be interfered with and you may find more side effects from non-surgical procedures as a result.

‘Facelifts can cause permanent or short to mid-term nerve damage. Nerve damage near the eyes can also lead to blurred vision. Blindness could occur if the area gets severely infected post-operation. Nerve damage can happen from nonsurgical treatments too, so the more work you do to one area, the more likely it is that nerve damage may occur.’

Katie is no stranger to the operating table and has undergone a number of procedures – including 17 boob jobs – since shooting to fame as a glamour model in 1995.

And she is continuing to worry fans with her changing appearance, with some commenting she is ‘no longer recognisable’ due to her worryingly shrinking frame following her recent social media upload.

Some of Katie’s surgeries – mainly her breast augmentations – have left her risking her health with the reality star nearly having to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2015 after a botched boob job left producers fearing she would develop septicaemia.

She admitted in 2019, ‘They wanted me out of the house…because my implant was hanging out. They said if my temperature went up, I would have had to leave because I was going to get septicaemia in my blood. I was really poorly.’

And Katie has admitted fears that she will die on the operating table, previously opening up on a conversation she had with a clairvoyant.

She revealed last September, ‘She said “Oh, you're going to die in your sleep peacefully,” And then my sister said, “And you're going for surgery, you'll probably die in your sleep”.

‘I was like “Do you know what? Imagine if that is because the amount of times I've been put to sleep”, and that's stuck in my mind.’

But our source says Katie is not even letting her concerns about dying stop her from continuing to go under the knife.

They add, ‘Katie isn't put off surgery despite this recent complication. She's been talking about fixing her eyes by putting fat in the area that is drooping to even out her looks.

'With social media and all the younger reality stars on the rise, she's on a roll with no plans to stop all these procedures. She's been saying she wants to look 25, facially and with the body to match. Her weight loss has left her with some droopy skin which she wants to sort too. She's joked she'll have a special MOT for her birthday next month that'll leave her looking better than ever. But family and pals are worried and just want her to take a break for some proper self care.’
