The 36-year-old is set to enter the house in January and some of her famous ex lovers are thought to be going in with her.
Along with ex husband Alex Reid – who won the show in 2010 and could be re-entering – Dwight Yorke, the father of Katie's eldest son Harvey is said to be lined up.
Gareth Gates, who Katie famously had a relationship with while he was still on Pop Idol, could also be in the frame.
A source told the Daily Star 'there weren't enough fireworks' when Alex and Dane Bowers, another of Katie's exes, were in the house together.
"So this year they want Katie in there herself to cause havoc with an ex. It could be very explosive."
The bookies are already tipping Katie to win the show, even though her appearance hasn't even been confirmed.
Other stars said to be entering the house are Danniella Westbrook, Calum Best and Chloe Jasmine.
X Factor reject and I'm a Celeb runner-up Jake Quickenden has also been tipped to enter the house – meaning he would appear on all three within a year.
