Katie Price performed her brand new single I Got U on Loose Women

Katie Price sang live on Loose Women today and no one quite knew what to expect.

Loose Women viewers were in for a treat after the mum-of-five to Harvey 15, Junior, 12, Princess, nine, Jett, three and Bunny, two performed her brand-new single I Got U on the show.

The Loose Women panellist who confessed on the show that she's always wanted to be a "popstar or a model" has taken a shot at her singing career again and later this month she will be releasing her song.

Katie appeared at ease before singing the song but admitted her manager is not fond of her singing career. She explained to the panellists: "Nobody is interested whatsoever. No one is backing me.

"The manager didn't even book any of this. He's like 'I'm not interested. I don’t believe in it, I don’t know why you’re wasting your time."

Although, she proudly added: "It won’t be a flop. I’m confident. I'm doing this because this is my passion."

In true KP style she didn't care what anyone else thinks and still went on to perform her solo song on Loose Women alongside two backing dancers.

Although plenty of Loose Women's viewers were divided, with one person writing: "Jesus christ, Katie Price CANNOT sing. #loosewomen"

Someone else tweeted: "Pleasantly surprised with @MissKatiePrice song on #LooseWomen . The song is now stuck in my head 🎵"

Another added: "@MissKatiePrice you where amazing on #LooseWomen your so beautiful ❤️"

A fourth person wrote: "@MissKatiePrice please just stop trying so hard.. Your song is as bad as eurovision.. #LooseWomen cringe/awkward mahoosive flop ahead love 😂"

Whether you liked Katie's performance or not you have to admit she's made a huge improvement since that video of Katie and Peter dueting leaked without their auto tune.

The former glamour model first kicked off her singing career back in 2005 for the Eurovision. Who could forget her infamous skin-tight pink catsuit while she sang Not Just Anybody?

She didn't stop there though because alongside her ex-husband Peter Andre, they later released a duet album titled A Whole New World. Fast forward to 2010 and Mrs Pricey appeared on GMTV to perform her solo song Free To Love Again although she did admit she was miming throughout the performance.

She added: "I’m not a singer, this is just something that I’m doing for fun. It’s not like I’m worried about getting a chart position or number one, this is purely for fun.

"Whether people like it or not, I’m doing it."
