Despite her mum Amy and fiancé Carl Woods urging her not to have any more surgery, last week Jordan jetted to Turkey for yet another set of treatments, including liposuction, a face lift and new teeth.
The mum of five – aka Katie Price – was accompanied by Carl, 32, for the trip, which sparked a backlash among fans as Turkey is listed as a “red” country in government travel rules, meaning it has high Covid-19 risk and only essential travel is allowed.
Jordan, 43, argued her travel was essential as it was for work – and went to amber-list country Spain after being in Turkey to reduce quarantine time upon her return to the UK. She filmed the procedures for her YouTube channel, with her rep arguing, “Katie is the rising Stacey Dooley of undercover reporting.”
But insiders tell Closer there was another reason behind Jordan’s surgery.
A source says, “Katie didn’t only get the surgery because she thought it would make a hard-hitting documentary – she wanted it because she has lost confidence, especially over lockdown. She’s been watching lots of young, attractive influencers on social media.
“Since the procedure, she’s been feeling swollen and her skin is feeling very tight on her face. She’s got a slight cat-like effect at the moment, but she insists that’s not intentional and it will go down.
“During lockdown, she’d been obsessing over all these sexy, younger influencers on Instagram while she’s been complaining about putting on weight. Katie is insecure deep down and she only feels good if she’s feeling desirable, so she always turns to surgery.”
The former glamour model is also seriously thinking of turning to X-rated website OnlyFans, where users sell saucy pictures of themselves to subscribers.
The source adds, “She thinks it could turn her life around. Her friend Kerry [Katona] has made £1m from the site, and whenever Katie has spoken to her about it, she can’t help but feel she’s missing out. Katie was the UK’s biggest glamour model and she knows there are men out there who would spend a fortune on sexy pictures of her.”
Jordan made her fame and a £45m fortune from modelling. Aged 20, she had the first in a succession of breast-enhancement surgeries, increasing her natural 32B to a 32FF, and posed for the likes of Playboy.
However, in December 2019, she was declared bankrupt. She reportedly partly blamed her three failed marriages – to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler – for her debts, as well as a legal battle with Peter, in which she had to pay undisclosed libel damages after accusing him of being unfaithful to her.
But she has continued having surgery and, last year, she admitted to having an 11th boob job. A year before that, she had again flown to Turkey to have lipo, a face lift, a Brazilian bum lift and a boob reduction.
And Jordan – who is undergoing IVF in a bid to have her sixth child, and first with Carl – recently admitted she plans to go under the knife again, explaining that she wasn’t “happy with how [she] looks at the moment”.

However, despite being by her side on the trip, sources insist Carl “isn’t happy” about her treatments – and talk of OnlyFans could even end their romance. While she first reportedly considered it last year, it was said that “traditional” Carl had vetoed it.
The source says, “Carl went with her to Turkey because even though he doesn’t like her having surgery, he knows how insecure she’s feeling and she would have gone for it anyway.
“But Carl won’t be happy with her if he finds out she’s setting up an OnlyFans account. She dropped it into conversation to test the waters recently and he didn’t like it – one minute she’s talking about them having a baby, and the next she’s having liposuction and discussing glamour modelling again.
“Katie sees getting her kit off as a fast and effective way to make money – she just can’t handle sitting back and watching others get rich when she knows she could be making a fortune, too. She was the ultimate glamour girl so the thought of letting others cash in when she could be too makes it a struggle for her to turn down.”
In an exclusive chat with Closer earlier this year, former Love Island star Carl said he preferred Katie over her alter-ego, saying, “If she was still her ‘Jordan’ alter ego, we would have clashed... I can’t stand the ‘Jordan’ thing. I think Katie probably struggled to let go of the ‘Jordan’ alter ego for a while.”
In another joint interview with Jordan – who he proposed to in April after 10 months of dating – he begged her to “age gracefully” instead of turning to surgery, telling her, “There is a point when it’s too much and an unnecessary risk in being put under. I think the surgery does need to stop. You can look too plastic.” But she replied with a defiant “no”.

Her mum, Amy, who has a terminal lung disease, has also begged her to stop the procedures, saying, “I’ve disagreed with every procedure she’s ever had. She doesn’t tell me now because she knows I’ll go ballistic.”
The source continues, “Carl can’t understand why Katie is so obsessed with wanting to feel desired by other people, but she insists it can help them financially, which can only be a good thing.
“Deep down, her friends know it’s because she has insecurities but they have warned Katie not to push Carl too far – she could risk losing him if she goes ahead with her risqué modelling plans without taking into consideration his feelings or having his blessing.”
