Katie Price, 36, has said that she has no interest in taking revenge on her husband of eight months, Kieran Hayler, after he cheated on her twice.

Speaking in her column, she said: "A lot of people have passed comment on my decision to stay with Kieran and work on our marriage after he cheated on me with two friends.

"Of course people are entitled to their own opinion and I know why people might think I'm a fool for staying. But no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.

"And there are obviously good reasons for me to stay with Kieran. I love him. But believe me, he hasn't had it easy."

Katie, who gave birth to her and Kieran's (as yet unnamed) daughter in July, added that, while she will never forget what Kieran has done to her, she is learning to trust him as time goes on.

"I can be the most devious person in the world but I'm not interested in reveng. Two wrongs do not make a right.

"There's always the threat of a lie detector but Kieran's not worried because he has nothing to lie about. I don't want to rely on a lie detector - I want to build up the trust and have a strong marriage."

She added: "Kieran has changed so much. He's continuing with his therapy… I've got a good feeling about the rest of the year."

However, while Katie has forgiven Kieran - with whom she shares young son Jett and their month-old daughter - she has yet to do the same for former friend Jane Pountney, who was bridesmaid at their wedding.

She famously slammed mum-of-two Jane as a "home wrecker" and a "s**t" on Twitter when the affair was discovered in May, later posting a very unflattering photo of her former best friend to the site.

She wrote: "Just a reminder jane pountney is a ugly tramp and home wrecker, keep her away from your husband or boyfriend ,s***"

Just a few days ago, Katie defended her actions towards Jane, writing: "I'll keep on about jane & Chrissy they haven't said SORRY NOTHING,kieran has done something about it goes to therapy & has changed & SORRY"

Katie had been friends with Jane, who is married with two children, since she was 15-years-old.
