Speaking to a UK magazine, Katie admitted that she still doesn’t know why Pete left her, and that they won’t ever speak again.
Katie, 35, said: “I never wanted a divorce from Peter. That was his decision not mine. He’s never, to this day, told me the reason why. We don’t speak. Too much has gone on. I’ll never speak to him again.”
But former glamour model Katie insisted she is happy with new husband Kieran Hayler, 27, saying that he’s ‘for keeps.’
“He’s not interested in being a celebrity couple, he is happy in his job,” she said. “He doesn’t want to get involved in everything I do.”
Katie and Kieran got married last year and had their first child together, son Jett Riviera, in August. Katie opened up about Jett’s traumatic birth, when she went into labour two months early while on holiday in France.
She said: “I wish I’d listened harder in French class! I was stuck in a hospital in France. I was terrified and I couldn’t understand anyone. It was awful.”
But, despite the problem’s she faced with Jett’s birth, Katie – who is mum to Harvey, 11, Junior, 8, and six-year-old Princess – isn’t finished having babies just yet.
“I want eight kids, but I know I also have to look after my body,” she said. “If I’m told no more, then I don’t see the problem with surrogacy. I will also have my eggs frozen. I’ve always said I want eight kids and I still do.”
After four kids, Katie would be forgiven for having some body hang-ups, but the model insisted there’s nothing she wants to change about herself, adding: “I’m in good shape for a 35-year-old woman with four kids.”
