She’s faced more than her fair share of negativity lately and Katie Price has been forced to hit back at more rumours surrounding her parenting skills.
The 37-year-old took to Twitter to deny rumours she forces a beauty regime worth £1000 a month on eldest daughter Princess, eight.
Former glamour model Katie tweeted: “I would like to clarify that I don’t spend 1000 pounds a month on beauty products for Princess as recently reported. Totally fabricated story [sic].”
The story originally appeared in Now! magazine, with the publication claiming Katie is determined to turn Princess – who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre – into a star.
A source allegedly said: “Katie’s constantly buying Princess top-of-the-line make-up and skin creams, from Dior to Chanel, and it’s adding up to thousands a month.
“Katie has trouble saying no because she feels like she has a future star on her hands, but friends think it’s going to ruin the poor girl.”
The reports come after Katie was blasted for sharing a snap of the little girl on Instagram, showing off a full face of costume make-up.
Followers later hit out at the mum-of-five again for ‘straightening’ her daughter’s naturally curly hair.
During an appearance on Loose Women, the panelist admitted she was wrong to allow Princess to wear so much make-up.
She said: “You’re all right. I was in the wrong. Princess sees how I pose. She thinks it’s natural. Those pictures were taken when we did panto at Christmas and she just saw her mum doing it. I wouldn’t let her go to the shops like that.”
