Katie Price has put an end to speculation she’s pregnant after making a “huge family announcement” live on Loose Women.
Earlier in the week, rumours began to circulate the former glamour model was expecting after she called in sick to the show and cancelled an appearance at the launch of her new TV series Katie Price's Pony Club.
Just before making her announcement, Katie revealed the reason behind her mystery illness.
She said: “I wasn’t right. I wasn’t right at all - to the point that I had to miss a preview of my own show with all the journalists there. But I was so poorly.
“The truth is, I am not pregnant. When I’m ill, everyone knows about it. When Joe Bloggs is ill, nobody cares but, because it’s me, everyone is talking. But again, I’m not pregnant and I haven’t had surgery. It’s nothing to do with that.
“I just had sushi that I bought at a train station and basically, it was coming out at both ends!”
And it was down to show host Andrea McLean to reveal what was really going on at the end of the show.
Katie will be joined on the show throughout the summer by her children Junior and Princess who are going to be Loose Kids of Summer after their successful appearance on the programme earlier this year.
Andrea said: “Princess and Junior are back, they’re going to be our Loose Kids of Summer giving their perspective on all topics.”
Katie Price is set to make a huge family announcement on Loose Women this morning, sparking rumours she’s pregnant.
The model, who is a regular panellist on the show, teased the news earlier today during an appearance on This Morning.
Fans were left wondering if the mother-of-five, who previously said she wants seven kids, is expecting another child with husband Kieran Hayler.
Rumours originally began to circulate when she called in sick to Loose Women and didn’t show up to the launch of her new television show Katie Price’s Pony Club on Tuesday.
After hearing Katie tease the news on This Morning, fans took to Twitter to speculate on the matter.
One person wrote: "Wonders what @MissKatiePrice announcement will be? Off sick... new announcement? #newbaby?"
Another posted: "Is @MissKatiePrice's announcement today going to be that she's pregnant?!"
And another tweeted: "@Pinkprincess_69 @MissKatiePrice pregnant deffo X."
Katie is already mother to son Harvey, whose father is footballer Dwight Yorke, son Junior and daughter Princess, who she shares with former pop star Peter Andre, and daughter Bunny and son Jett who she shares with husband Kieran.
