Katie Price praised for ‘inspirational’ interview: ‘I don’t want to let Harvey down’

Last night, Katie Price laid her soul bare in front of millions as she sat down with psychologist Dr Claudia Bernat.

Appearing in documentary Katie Price: In Therapy, she admitted her deepest fears for disabled son Harvey.

The 13-year-old suffers from Prader-Will syndrome and requires round the clock care and medication.

She told Dr Bernat that she is terrified of ‘letting him down.’

Katie said: "I won't do respite with him yet, because I don't want to feel like I'm letting him down. By letting him go, while I go and have fun with the others."

Breaking down in tears, she said: "I don't want to leave him.”

Viewers took to twitter to voice their praises for the 37-year-old star.

One wrote: "I have so much respect for Katie Price. She's so down to earth, genuine and honest and she's done amazing with Harvey.”

Another typed: "Katie Price is an inspiration when it comes to the love she has for her kids."

Katie is also mum to son Junior, 10 and daughter Princess, 8, from her marriage to pop star Peter Andre.

Following her wedding to husband Kieran Hayler, Katie gave birth to son Jett in 2013 and daughter Bunny in the summer of last year.
