The 37-year-old is set to take to the stage as the Wicked Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, taking turns with ex-EastEnders actress Anita Dobson, this Christmas at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking.

Speaking about her new role, Katie said: "I'm not sure who's more excited about my role in panto, me or the kids!

"They're going to enjoy it so much seeing me up on stage, although they might find it strange that I'm being so evil."

Katie is mum to Harvey, Junior, Princess Tiaamii, Jett Riviera and Bunny – and it's because of her children that she accepted the job.

She added: "Sleeping Beauty is one of the kids favourite stories and I simply couldn't resist the opportunity. The people of Woking better watch out as I'm coming to getcha!"

Anita said: "I love the Wicked Fairy, a role I have played many times before and I can't wait to get that costume back on and start being bad again, I'll have all of those children booing and hissing in no time!"

It's set to be a busy festive period for Katie's children, as Junior and Princess will no doubt be going down to Strictly Come Dancing a lot to support their dad Peter Andre as he competes for the Glitterball.

If you want to catch Katie in action, Sleeping Beauty will be on from Friday 11 December 2015 until Sunday 10 January 2016.
