You won’t believe what Katie Price wore for the London Marathon

Katie Price is a lady who knows how to make a statement. Whether it’s the egg she hatched from at her Reborn book launch or the unicorn outfit that she also forced husband Kieran to dress up in, she’s worn some weird and wonderful outfits in her time and her London Marathon attire is certainly up there with the greats.

The Pricey is taking part in today’s 26.2-mile run to raise money for the British Lung Foundation and has taken inspiration from the cause, donning a HUGE pair of inflatable pink lungs.

Katie decided to take part in the marathon in support of the charity after her mum Amy was diagnosed a terminal lung condition last year.

“Running this marathon is important to me. I did that one for Harvey, but Harvey is still alive. My mum is dying. She's going to die of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and none of us knew what it was before,” she told The Mirror.

Although Katie revealed that she hadn’t done any training for the run, Amy said that she was ‘so proud’ of her daughter.

“The main thing is that we raise awareness of what is a much-neglected health area, so the people with the power to do something take notice and act - I have a terminal lung condition that took far too long to be diagnosed,” she told The Sun.

“Everyone who runs the London Marathon does it for their own personal reasons and the journey they've been on, it means something to everyone and for Kate it's about me.”

Also taking part in this year's London Marathon are Rochelle Humes, radio DJ Chris Evans and I'm A Celebrity star Joel Dommett.
