Insiders reveal Jordan’s risking everything for her obsession with re-living her glamour modelling heyday
She’s caused panic in recent weeks for her out-of-control behaviour, flying out to Turkey for yet another bout of cosmetic surgery and reportedly moving new toyboy Charles Drury into her Surrey mansion after sensationally dumping fiancé Kris Boyson, 30.
Now pals tell Closer that Jordan’s recent crazed series of surgeries is being driven by her obsession with turning back the clock to make her a sex symbol again – even if it kills her.
A source says, “Her issues stem from the fact she found fame as a glamour model and only feels life is worth living if she’s desired by men. Being a sex symbol has become an obsession with her recently – to the point that it’s all she thinks about.
“Kris was a good, stable influence and her kids loved him, but as soon as her head was turned by someone younger and hotter, she was off. It gives her the validation she needs, she’s so driven by her desperate need to look young and to be considered hot. She won’t stop having surgery because she’s desperate to get her looks back and have every man want her again.
“Her friends say she’s already planning more surgery and they’re all worried that if she carries on, it’s going to have a tragic end. It’s like she’s killing herself just to be sexy.”
Experts have previously warned that Jordan, 41 – real name Katie Price – was risking her life with her multiple surgeries and suffered an infection after her most recent ops that led her to return to a Turkish clinic for help. And a psychotherapist last month told Closer Jordan appeared to have “quite significant depression” and was showing “an expressed wish of ending her life”.
Jordan had previously sparked concern when she appeared to joke on her reality show, My Crazy Life, about dying on the operating table, saying, “Love my family, love my kids. If I don’t wake up, you can have it all...”.
The source adds, “Katie’s already making plans to go back to Turkey for even more procedures and says next time she’s having a Brazilian butt lift as well as body contouring and liposuction around her stomach. Her goal is to look even better than she did in her heyday, have a string of hot toyboys at her fingertips and strip off for photo shoots to become the UK’s biggest pin-up again – even if it means losing everything she cares about in the process.”
Last week, as Jordan sunbathed topless and posed for a raunchy photo shoot while still on holiday in Turkey, sources revealed ex-husband Kieran Hayler had been left furious by her wild antics after learning she had already introduced their children, Jett, six, and Bunny, five, to builder and amateur footballer Charles – and demanded she return home with them.

Just last year, he was snapped visiting a solicitor’s office while holding a family law book as Jordan’s children Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, went to live with her first husband, Peter Andre, 46, amid her spate of wild behaviour, which included a shocking cocaine confession and a stint in rehab for post-traumatic stress disorder.
Kieran sparked speculation that he was considering seeking full custody last week after posting a praying hands emoji and liking a comment by a fan on Instagram that insisted, “If I was you I’d go to court for full custody of those children. Absolute disgrace them being subjected to another man ‘daddy’ in their lives.”
Kieran later claimed he’d liked the comment by mistake, but insiders say it didn’t faze Jordan, who reportedly caused her youngest kids to miss their first day of school after missing her flight home from Turkey.
A source reveals, “Katie is in her own bubble and thinks she’s untouchable, insisting Kieran and Pete wouldn’t stand a chance of getting custody just because of her having plastic surgery and toyboys. Friends have told her it’s important that she maintains good relationships with the fathers of her kids and respects them, but she doesn’t care, and says Kieran is just ‘immature’.

“Her friends and family have warned her about the possibility of Kieran and Pete teaming up and fighting her together, but she’s not bothered and loves winding them up and knowing how frustrated they get when there’s nothing they can do to stop her – especially when she says they’re watching her get sexier with every surgery, which must be driving them both crazy.”
Meanwhile, her close pal Kerry Katona reportedly left Jordan “furious” last week when she expressed her concern over her recent surgery, describing the photos of her wounds as “awful” and saying, “I love Kate to bits but I think she’s crossed the line.”
The source adds, “She won’t listen to anyone. Kerry has been a good friend to Katie over the years, but even she can’t make her see sense. Anyone who tries to intervene, even if it’s out of genuine kindness, gets her back up. It’s like she wants to self-destruct.”
