But despite the romantic setting, insiders reveal the trip was tense for Katie, 38, and Kieran, 29, and they spent a lot of time bickering.
The trip came just two weeks after Katie revealed she was taking a break from Loose Women to focus on her relationship with Kieran – who admitted to affairs in 2014 – and just after she was linked to Geordie Shore star Scotty T.
But the pair's luxury trip was blighted by arguments. A source says: "The differences between Katie and Kieran became glaringly obvious when they were on holiday by themselves – she just wanted to party and found Kieran boring.
"Katie wants the sexy, exciting man back that she married."
