Katie Price’s wedding vow renewal with husband Kieran Hayler last weekend was supposed to mark the ending of one of the darkest chapters of her life– less than a year after he confessed to being unfaithful with two of her close pals.
Katie was surrounded by close friends and family at the ceremony, which took place at Long Furlong Barn in West Sussex. But sources say the star seemed to stun guests with a fiery speech, in which she once again brought up Kieran’s infidelities.
A source says: “Katie referred to Kieran’s cheating with her best pals – it made for an uncomfortable speech.'
Now pals fear the mum of five – who has Harvey, 12, Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, as well as Jett, 18 months, and seven-month-old Bunny with Kieran – is emotionally drained by recent turmoils and the stress is proving too much.
A source reveals: “The day after the vow renewal, Katie broke down in tears, telling pals it was as if all the drama from the past year had come flooding out. Everyone is used to her keeping her emotions under control – it was a shock to see her so upset.
“She’s had so much to cope with and hasn’t seemed herself for a while. Friends are worried she’s close to the edge.”
And it seems without the vow renewal plans to focus on, Jordan can’t shake off her feelings of discontent.
A source says: “Katie thought the ceremony would mark a fresh start, but now it’s over she’s feeling pretty flat. It’s like nothing has really changed.”
